Created by Rosewood Hotel Georgia (Vancouver, British Columbia)’s award-winning bartenders Brad Stanton and Robyn Gray, the Quince Cobbler debuted last week on the new fall cocktail menu at the hotel’s acclaimed cocktail bar, Prohibition. A visual stunner, the Quince Cobbler is a mix of Grey Goose VX, PX Sherry, orange juice, lemon juice, and quince jam. Once the ingredients have been shaken together, the cocktail is then strained into a teku glass filled with crushed ice, and garnished with dehydrated pears, apples and cherries for a deliciously sweet and crisp cocktail that is perfect to sip during the cooler months.
The new menu at Prohibition also features the Malahat (candied ginger-infused Havana 7-year rum, lime juice, ginger, pineapple syrup, pimento dram mix, Men’s Room Red Ale, and Angostura bitters) and You Don’t Know Jack, made with a unique hazelnut and almond butter-washed Jack Daniel’s and egg white, lemon, pumpkin spice syrup, pimento dram, and Angostura bitters. At Prohibition, guests can also indulge in ‘The Absinthe Experience’ and gather around an absinthe fountain to sip and compare two varieties.
